We got Toffee (chock lab) and Tiger (ginger and white tabby) when they were only a few weeks old.  They were brought up together, Toffee grew very quickly and so much bigger than Tiger. But he was just a big softie and Tiger was a very homely cat.  They played together and were always together as we had to go to work and our daughters went to school.

Sadly due to circumstances me and my daughters had to leave, and leave the family pets behind.  I could not bring them with us they stayed with my ex-husband.  I was able to see our pets when he was away on holiday as I went to feed them. That was lovely and my cat had put on weight and looked better for it.  But sadly about 2 to 3 years ago he died at the Cattery my daughter thinks of a broken heart?  I am not sure about that but he would have been 10 years old.

I did see Toffee again after that when our daughter Sarah was looking after him. It was so lovely to see him. Such a lovely natured dog so well behaved too my cat was the same that's why we miss them so much. They were great company, warm and affectionate to have around .  So very sad and upsetting it's like loosing a member of your family as they are part of your family.
