Murphy (21.03.96 - 23.02.08) |
We lost Bailey tragically early in awful circumstances.
At the time I turned to your bereavement counselling service, which was
enormously helpful. Today I have had to face losing 'my rock' Murphy. Murphy was calm yet full of life, obedient yet wicked, and so very wise. She has not been in great health for several months. But she refused to take things lying down. Whatever life threw at her, she met it head on. The vet said 'she was quite a remarkable dog'. 'A mix of a wilful breed, a sprinkling of stubborn mule and an owner that would assist her as long as she wanted to continue to fight'. I kept looking in her eyes, she'd be able to tell me that way, if enough was enough. But she was so tough, it was never there. Murphy came into my life at a time I was struggling with my health - together we turned the situation around, I owe her so much! I will miss Murphy for ever. But I know she is reunited with her sister at Rainbow Bridge and once again Murphy is in the river stalking the ducks and Bailey is on the river bank excitedly dancing up and down watching in admiration of big sis, as they always did in this life. Have fun my precious twosome! I love you both! |
