Missy D.O.B unknown - 12/9/08

Missy came into rescue in 2007. Her previous owner moved away and left Missy and 5 other cats outside and blocked up the cat flap so they had no shelter.  A kind neighbour alerted us to the fact that these cats were homeless.  All of them came to us at Animal Samaritans and most were quickly re homed.  Missy however, being an older cat, was overlooked.  She was eventually taken in by our cat fosterer along with her life companion Charlie.  Charlie and Missy were such beautiful gentle cats, how anyone could have abandoned them is a mystery.

Sadly earlier this year, Charlie passed away suddenly leaving Missy alone. She missed Charlie terribly and although she was ok, she started to slow down considerably after his passing.  Little by little Missy started to look thinner as the months went on and sadly although every effort was made to ensure she was happy and healthy, Missy passed away.  We would like to thank Bill & Elsie for the love and care they showed to both Missy and Charlie.
