Memorials - Maggie

Maggie was a little bundle of ginger fur when she came to us those 18 years ago and from day one she was the sweetest girl.  She gave back in spades the love we gave to her and we began to think she would go on forever when she got to the age of 18 but it was not to be.

6 months ago she had a stroke and it left her incontinent and with a tendency to walk in circles we coped for a long time but then things became rough for her she would walk behind furniture or into corners and not be able to find her way out.  She had to be carried outside as the walking all got too much for her, so we said enough is enough we are now keeping her alive for our benefit because we could not bear to part with her.

So the decision was made it was time for Maggie to go to Rainbow Bridge and be renewed and wait for me with my other dogs.  I know we did the right thing for her but it is all still so painful.  She deserves a fitting tribute for being a wonderful companion for all those years.

Till we meet again Maggie you take part of me with you.xxxxx
