George

From that first moment I saw you, I fell in love with you.  I always believed that you were waiting for me to come and find you.  You were my precious boy.

You never had much luck health wise, but that didn't matter we overcame everything that was thrown at us, until we found out about your tumour.  This was a devastating blow, but you stayed with us for a lot longer than we anticipated.

On Tuesday 25th March, we finally had to let you go, and it broke our hearts.  I don't think we will ever get over your loss.  You were such an important part of our lives and my constant companion.  You loved me and I loved you - it was a 2 way thing. I lost my best friend that day!

You loved Christmas.  We could never leave any wrapped presents under the tree because you would take great joy in sneaking in the room and unwrapping them.  We took pleasure in letting you help us to unwrap our own presents.  We managed to get another Christmas out of you – thankfully.  I can’t imagine what the next one will be like without you.

You brought so much joy into our lives and we have so many wonderful memories.  You had some funny little habits, but that was what made you 'George'.  You were loved by everyone for your sweet, calm and gentle nature. I know I used to get on your nerves, always wanting cuddles, but I couldn't help myself, and I think in your own way you understood this.  The house is so quiet without you, life will never be the same again.  You were never a noisy boy, but you had such a presence, its unbearable now you’re not here.

George, we miss you so much but take comfort in knowing you are now free from any pain and suffering.

Sweet Dreams my Beautiful Boy.

Lots and Lots of Love. We miss you.

Mum, Dad and Joshua
