Dear Animal Samaritans I thought I should write and let you know how the rabbit we re-homed in October 2006 is getting on. We bought Ronnie in April 2006 and decided after a few months of chewing away his hutch and any other wood he could find that he may have been a bit lonely during the day so we decided that a friend may make him happier. I contacted you and arranged to take Ronnie to meet his new friend and when I got there I could not believe how many rabbits the foster lady (Val) had, if I have the room I would've taken them all home! |

The girl bunny we chose had only been with Val for a couple of days and once they met it was love at first sight! We took them home and we decided to call her Ria. Ronnie had been used to being quite spoilt and although Ria wasn't really mistreated by her previous owner she was overweight and when we put her in garden to have a bit of exercise she didn't really know what to do and just sat for while! However after a few days of watching Ronnie charge around she soon got the hang of it! So thank you Animal Samaritans for helping us to cheer up our beloved Ronnie and we now have two very happy bunnies as you can see from the photograph! (Ronnie is on the left and Ria on the right of the photo) Many thanks again, |

SKYE AND STAR On February 14th 2007 we adopted two beautiful boys. These two boys are absolutely adorable, loving, giving and gorgeous. How anyone could have given them up, amazes us. They settled in with us in a matter of days! Incredible, they were so at home immediately and happy. They enrich our lives every day and we love them both dearly. At first, we thought Skye was the boss. He would complain when he was left and would run ahead. Now though, Star’s character has blossomed. Star is now the one who will ask in his own recognisable voice to get attention. |

We enclose some photos, showing how much more healthy they are, both having been on a strict dry food veggie diet. Star, especially was very overweight and suffering with walking and being out of breath even on a short walk. He has reduced his weight already and full of life. We were concerned as they are both 9 yrs old and we could not bear to lose them young, but please God they will live many, many years. Big woofs, licks and kisses from Skye, Star, Hazel & Michael Daniel x x x x |
