Help us with Food Donations

We have pet food donation collection bins at
Morrison's Erith
Morrison's Sidcup
Morrison's Welling

Any pet food donations are very welcome and we appreciate any help you can offer.

Each year Animal Samaritans provide much needed assistance and support to hundreds of animals and owners.
We could not carry on the invaluable work without our members, volunteers and donations from kind members of the public.

Leave a lasting Legacy

Our team of volunteers work hard to ensure that these disadvantaged animals are re-homed and are given the proper care they deserve.

Animal Samaritans is run entirely by volunteers so any donation is critical for the running of our charity and the continuation of our work. We would not exist without the help of caring and compassionate people and their kind donations.

It can be difficult to think about making a will but it is truly important to make plans for the future support of your relatives, friends and the causes you believe in.

If you already have a will, this does not mean that you cannot leave a legacy. It is easy! All you have to do is add a codicil, a formal supplement to your will.

Animal Samaritans is run wholely by volunterers. We are always looking for new recruits. If you feel you could dedicate some of your spare time to help us, please contact us.

We are looking for...

Dog fosterers  - as we do not have a kenneling facility we rely on our dog fosterers who take dogs into their own homes. We desperately need dog fosterers in the South East London and North West Kent areas to help us cope with the huge amount of dogs we are asked to take in. To be a fosterer you must:

Do you have experience with dogs? Do you have daily access to a garden?  Do you have time to dedicate to a dog, cat or rabbit - we ask that fosterers do not leave the dogs for long periods every day

Fundraising Co-ordinator - this is a new role and we will assist the co-ordinator in recruiting fundraisers. You would also be responsible for:

Sourcing and arranging fundraising events - such as setting up stalls at public events or town centres, sponsored event etc

Identify and implement fund raising opportunites

Identify opportunities to raise the profile of Animal Samaritans and implement plans

All aspects of work regarding fund raising for the charity

Animal Transporters  - We are looking for people who would be able to collect our animals and take them to our foster homes. In addition to this there may be occasions when our fosterers need assistance taking our animals to the vets etc. All expenses incurred in this role will be reimbursed by the charity.

Home checkers – Check suitablility of future forever homes. Do you know what is needed for a suitable home for an animal? Are you able to travel locally to visit potential forever homes for our animals?
